Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is a leading provider of water treatment solutions to clients across municipal and industrial sectors. We are seeking a dedicated and thoughtful intern to join our team as a Lab Chemist Intern. The successful candidate will work as part of a lab team in Tomball, TX, and will be responsible for developing and improving high-throughput antifoulant testing methods. The primary goal is to correlate properties of crude oil with characterization and chemistry of foulant material and antifoulant chemicals. This involves testing a variety of antifoulant chemicals and catalysts using batch and continuous lab simulation test methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry, with 2-3 years of college chemistry lab experience. They will also have familiarity with basic wet chemistry and analytical techniques, as well as the ability to work independently in a lab environment. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, a team player, and an accomplished communicator, able to produce quality technical reports and documents.
