We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team at UCLA Health. The successful candidate will provide medical care to homeless patients as part of our Integrated Medical Home Team (IMHT) program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to low-income patients, including chronically ill adults, pediatrics, and gynecology
- Attend case conferences and participate in street outreach to engage with patients in need
- Work independently to assess, manage, and follow up with patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Graduated from an accredited PA Program
- CA license to practice as a Physician Assistant in California
- National Certification as a PA
- BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Ability to operate a computer to obtain lab results, log clinic visits, and input/retrieve data
- Knowledge of disease processes and treatments in patients with chronic disease, pediatrics, or gynecologic problems
- Skill in communicating with patients and families in medical Spanish
