Warehouse Selector Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Selector to join our team at Golden State Foods. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, selecting, storing, and loading products and/or materials in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, lifting, carrying, and placing product into a pallet to accurately build customer orders in various temperature environments.
• Moving product into a trailer or storage unit, visually inspecting incoming and outgoing warehouse products to determine acceptability for shipment and/or receiving of product.
• Reading labels and associated documents, counting and calculating quantity of product to verify accuracy of shipment.
• Operating a forklift or pallet jack in an accident-free manner.

Requirements

• Licensed fork lift operator with a minimum of six months of safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Possess reading and basic math skills.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and twisting while carrying 50-pound objects.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
