Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position with a 36-hour workweek, offering a competitive pay package and a tax-free stipend. The ideal candidate will have 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting and be knowledgeable about general and specific health issues.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
  • Recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
  • Properly understand triage in order to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
  • Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
Requirements
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
