Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a diverse group of students by customizing services to align with their individual needs and developmental milestones.
  • Evaluate and assist students in areas of speech, articulation, fluency, and language development, utilizing a comprehensive approach to foster their communication abilities.
  • Collaborate with classroom educators and other school staff to execute targeted interventions, ensuring a unified strategy for student advancement.
  • Conduct assessments and generate detailed reports that highlight strengths and areas for growth, focusing on voice, speech, and fluency to inform decision-making.
  • Create tailored treatment plans with a focus on the child and family, taking into account the unique circumstances of each student and their family.
  • Actively engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations to support students' communication objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and relevant State/Federal regulations, ensuring the privacy and security of information related to children and their families.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in California.
  • Experience in clinical or educational settings is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
