Job Summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Echocardiogram Tech Registered to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing cardiovascular ultrasound procedures and evaluating data for cardiologist interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine echocardiograms, including color flow, pulse wave, and continuous wave Doppler, stress, echo, pharmacologic stress, and TEE procedures.
  • Utilize contrast echo agents and demonstrate a thorough understanding of ultrasound instrumentation, cardiovascular physiology, and pathology.
  • Relate findings to clinically meaningful data and provide accurate interpretations to cardiologists.
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular ultrasound technology.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience in cardiac ultrasound.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
  • BLS certification.
