Job Overview

Aerotek is seeking skilled automotive technicians to join a reputable manufacturing organization offering competitive pay ranging from $25 to $40 per hour. This position is a long-term, direct hire opportunity that includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Shifts Available:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess vehicle condition through inspections and diagnostic evaluations; identify worn or damaged components.
  • Review, complete, or delegate repairs noted on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Conduct safety assessments on vehicles.
  • Implement and complete preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Utilize vehicle electronic systems to interpret failure modes and initiate necessary repairs.
  • Maintain vehicle aesthetics and verify performance standards.
  • Control costs by leveraging warranties and evaluating service and parts options.
  • Stay informed on job skills and current trends through ongoing education and guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and effective problem solver with hands-on experience.
  • Detail-oriented and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Proficient in operating tools and equipment necessary for vehicle repair.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and vehicle components.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience or technical training in a service-related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and lean for extended periods.
  • Frequent walking.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and other repair equipment.
