Position Summary:

  • Department: Cath Lab
  • Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, day shift (7am-3:30pm or 7:30am-4pm), with on-call rotation
  • Facilities: Responsibilities include work at multiple hospital locations
  • Incentives: $20,000 sign-on bonus available
  • Opportunities: Ideal for Radiologic Technologists; new graduates are encouraged to apply


Role Responsibilities: This position involves assisting physicians during invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures. Key duties include:

  • Monitoring and passing instruments and catheters
  • Observing patient responses during procedures
  • Maintaining a sterile environment
  • Interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data for physician use


Qualifications:

Education: An Associate's degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science, or completion of a relevant certificate/training program is required.

Experience: Prior experience in radiology or diagnostic imaging is preferred.

Certifications:

  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
