Job Summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Advanced Imaging Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Riverview. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing CT and X-ray procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT and X-ray procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, adhering to safety regulations and quality control standards
  • Assess patient conditions, prepare patients for exams, and administer chemical substances as needed
  • Review patient charts and requests with radiologists to ensure proper examination and diagnostic results
  • Participate in training and education of department personnel, including students
Requirements
  • Formal training in radiology technology from an AMA-approved program
  • Minimum of one year of radiologic experience
  • Current FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • 1 hour of stroke education within 6 months of hire date, then annually
  • 1 hour of hip and knee surgery education within 6 months of hire date, then annually
