Qualifications:

  • Candidates should have significant expertise in securitization or structured finance.
  • Experience with private credit or CLOs is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with derivatives is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Strong academic background along with exceptional analytical, writing, and communication abilities are essential.
  • The ideal candidate will be capable of negotiating and overseeing intricate finance transactions, mentoring junior attorneys, and cultivating relationships with both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The associate will represent both lenders and borrowers in the negotiation of various credit facilities, including bilateral and syndicated loans, asset-based financing, and securitizations.
  • The practice group serves issuers, placement agents, collateral managers, and equity investors in CLO transactions, covering middle-market balance sheet CLOs and broadly syndicated arbitrage CLOs across the United States and Europe.
  • Providing guidance to issuers, underwriters, placement agents, and collateral managers on all facets of structured finance offerings.
  • Collaborating with leading institutions and colleagues across different jurisdictions.
