Energy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Reference to join our team at Galaxy Group.

Your Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to consumption taxes, particularly electricity and energy taxes, as well as energy law.
• Provide support in tax declarations, tax audits, and legal remedies with a focus on electricity and energy law.
• Participate in the planning process for electricity and energy-related issues.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customs authorities, network operators, the Federal Network Agency, and external consultants.
• Calculate allocations in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for electricity and energy taxes.
• Contribute to project work in the field of energy-related issues.

Your Qualifications:

• Hold a degree in economics or law or a comparable education.
• Possess professional experience in the commercial sector and a genuine interest in the topic of energy, with previous experience in the described area of responsibility being desirable.
• Have experience in project work.
• Be willing to familiarize yourself with new topics.
• Excel in MS Office skills.
• Display good German and English skills.
