Job Summary

Connections Academy is seeking a Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual speech therapy services to K-12 students. The successful candidate will work from home, utilizing webcams and web conferencing software to connect with students and manage their caseload through our online Education Management System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality speech language services to assigned students, supporting program implementation and maintaining a positive working relationship with the LiveSpeech team and schools we serve.
  • Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Review and analyze reports to maintain compliance, communicate regularly with parents and school staff, and conduct screenings and evaluations using documented best practices.
  • Consult with teachers and coordinate the implementation of specially designed instruction, manage special education case loads, and maintain accurate data in our Education Management System.

Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
  • Valid South Carolina licensure in Speech Pathology and ability to obtain multiple required state certifications and clearances.
  • 2+ years of experience in a K-12 school setting, strong technology skills, and high degree of flexibility and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.

Compensation

The anticipated starting salary for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position begins at $54,000 per year at minimum.
