Fleet Systems Analyst Job Description

At Casella Waste Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and improving our fleet management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain data in fleet systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and integrate new systems into different company locations, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
  • Perform system updates and testing to ensure proper operation and minimize errors.
  • Provide technical support for company use of fleet software systems, resolving issues and troubleshooting application errors.
  • Interpret data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest areas for process improvement.
  • Aggregate and perform statistical analysis on business data, providing insights for project teams and senior leadership.
  • Develop and deliver custom application training and documentation, ensuring end-users have the knowledge and skills to meet business needs.
  • Oversee the month-end close process for software systems, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to develop and mentor others.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of fleet maintenance systems.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and multitask.
  • Experience or interest in environmental and/or sustainability field.
  • Experience with general fleet management, maintenance systems, and VMRS codes.
  • Experience with DOT regulatory compliance.
