Job Summary

Housekeeping personnel may be required to work during evenings and weekends. This role is classified as essential, meaning employees are expected to fulfill their duties during emergencies or university closures.

Required Qualifications

Essential Duties

• Sanitize and maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, and various facilities.
• Perform comprehensive floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing.
• Manage waste and recycling processes effectively.
• Dust and clean surfaces, including windows and walls.
• Assist in event setups by rearranging furniture and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of entryways and outdoor areas.
• Conduct minor maintenance tasks and ensure custodial supplies are stocked.
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness and report any deficiencies.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Safety Responsibilities

• Utilize Personal Protective Equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Complete necessary safety training and stay informed on safety measures.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
• Extensive walking, bending, and lifting required.
