Rigger Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Rigger Supervisor to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. As a Rigger Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials within our nuclear facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the movement of heavy equipment and materials using cranes, hoists, and other rigging equipment.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and ensure that all personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform their tasks.
  • Develop and implement safe working procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all equipment and materials are properly stored and maintained.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior personnel on rigging and signaling techniques.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a nuclear machine shop environment.
  • NCCER Certification or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
