Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of a Spirit Halloween store. This includes staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown of the store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Control expenses and shrinkage
- Manage inventory and merchandise
- Develop and train staff
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement is 18
- Flexible schedule required
- Prior retail management experience required
- Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
