PACU Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our client's Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a leading healthcare facility near Belen, NM.

• Provide post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess patients for potential complications following surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative recovery and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New Mexico required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• ACLS and CPR certifications are required.
• PALS and NRP are preferred.
• Previous experience in PACU, critical care, or surgical settings preferred.
