Ultrasound Technologist- Intermediate Job Description

Job Summary:

Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist- Intermediate to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform invasive and non-invasive ultrasound procedures on a variety of patients
  • Utilize sterile techniques and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System
  • Produce superior quality imaging studies with minimal supervision
  • Routinely work within a minimum of 2 qualifying ARDMS specialty certifications in addition to ARDMS, ARRT or CCI Vascular certification

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare related profession
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at time of hire
  • Vascular Ultrasound Registry from either ARDMS, ARRT or CCI required upon hire
  • High Risk OB technologist must be registered in OB/GYN

Preferred Experience:

  • 12 months previous experience in ultrasound
  • High Risk OB Technologist: 3 years in ultrasound routinely performing OB/GYN exams with experience in high risk
