Essential Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with Gulfstream aircraft models, including GIV, G450, GV, G550, G650, G500, G600, G700, G400, G800.
  2. Familiarity with Maintenance and Structural Repair Manuals.
  3. Foundational understanding of composite and metal bonded structures design and repair methodologies.
  4. Knowledge of applicable FAA regulations and the process of ensuring compliance within production and post-production environments.
  5. Experience with international airworthiness regulatory bodies.
Educational Background and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that enables the successful execution of the job's essential functions. A minimum of 5 years in a specific technical field or 10 years of extensive engineering experience across various disciplines with a Bachelor's degree is necessary. Experience credit for related advanced degrees is limited to 2 years for a Master's and 4 years for a PhD in relevant fields.

Role Objective:

To assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of design, analysis, and liaison engineering efforts that support the development and production of Gulfstream products and services.

Primary Responsibilities:

Core Functions:
  1. Contributes to the planning, development, and coordination of significant engineering initiatives.
  2. Provides specialized technical support to team members.
  3. Applies advanced techniques and modified theories to deliver technical solutions for complex challenges.
  4. Identifies and formulates personal approaches to solutions within established schedule and budget constraints.
  5. Operates with limited oversight; work is primarily reviewed for accuracy and alignment with overall objectives.
  6. Acts as a liaison with external representatives beyond the assigned group or area.
Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Proactively seeks to enhance daily processes, ensuring all outputs meet customer expectations.
  2. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of advancements in the field of expertise and related aircraft domains to propose innovations that enhance product quality and effectiveness.
