Job Summary
This role supports both inpatient and consult liaison psychiatry services on the United Hospital campus. The successful candidate will consult with providers to assist with ongoing management of the behavioral health needs of their patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop behaviorally focused, outcomes-based treatment plans of care that address mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders.
- Provide psychiatric care for individuals experiencing complex mental health care needs during their medical admission.
- Develop and lead staff education in psychiatric issues.
- May participate in on-call rotation.
