Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering building materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Operations: Load and unload building materials from delivery vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to customer sites.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles.
  • Logistics Coordination: Verify order details, maintain delivery logs, and ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of delivery driving experience and a valid Class B CDL license.
  • Skills: Basic math and measurement skills, ability to read and speak English, and a strong attention to detail.
Work Environment

The physical demands of this role include lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds frequently, and occasional lifting and carrying up to 200 pounds with assistance. You must be able to physically operate delivery vehicles and perform tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling.
