Job Summary

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Temple, Pennsylvania. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver respiratory care services to patients in all areas of the hospital, adhering to policies and procedures approved by the Medical Director.
  • Work independently, making decisions with minimal supervision, and adapting to the specific needs of each patient and area assigned.
  • Supervise and be responsible for the work of other respiratory care practitioners, as well as provide orientation and in-service education.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
  • Graduate of an approved Respiratory program.
  • Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist by the state of employment.
  • Current BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification.
