Geomatics Technician

At SAM, we're seeking a skilled Geomatics Technician to support our office and field staff in processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our Project Manager to perform technical tasks utilizing the latest technology in the A/E/C industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process data utilizing SAM standards, ensuring accuracy and sufficiency, and compliance with applicable land survey project and industry principles.
  • Monitor field crew production and quality assurance.
  • Perform initial QC of field deliverables according to standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate with the supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience required.
  • Strong computer and technical skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; MicroStation, Revit, or similar application is a plus.
  • Proficiency in technical math; Geometry and Trigonometry are a plus.
