Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed psychologist to perform medical assessments on U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

This role involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically and conducting comprehensive in-person assessments on each Veteran.

You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure web portal.

The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations, which are made by the U.S. Veterans Administration using the findings recorded in the DBQs.

This position only performs Disability Assessments on Veterans and does not involve treating or prescribing medication.

Requirements
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school
  • Active and unrestricted psychology license
  • Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per yearBenefits
  • Malpractice insurance covered by MRG
  • Health insurance options available
