As a Safety and Security Specialist, you will serve as the primary safeguard for our establishment. Your main focus will be to ensure a secure and pleasant atmosphere for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct identification verifications
  • Screen guests for prohibited items (weapons/illegal substances)
  • Observe and monitor guest behavior
  • Document incidents with detailed reports outlining who, what, why, when, and how, to be submitted at the end of your shift
  • Report any use of force incidents to the Security management team
  • Perform regular walkthroughs of the premises, ensuring visibility and checking restrooms, outdoor exits, and potential hiding spots
  • Oversee the parking area from the main entrance or nearby vicinity
  • Enforce non-smoking policies in restricted areas
  • Collaborate effectively with team members
  • Monitor colleague activities for safety and provide assistance when necessary
The anticipated working hours will be scheduled, generally from evening until late night on designated days.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 6 hours
  • Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a team
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Texas Online Private Security (TOPS) - Level III Commissioned Officer with a valid Guard Card
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in security roles
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid
  • Annual completion of continuing education/training in security practices
