Hospice Nurse

The Hospice Nurse - Patient Care Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to terminally ill individuals in their homes. This role requires a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide comfort, support, and guidance to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive hospice nursing care, ensuring patients' comfort and quality of life.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and address any concerns or questions.
- Provide hands-on advanced nursing care, including pain management and symptom control.
- Supervise and train aides to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and current state driver's license.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a clinical care setting; hospice or home health experience preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Proficient skill using a computer is required; Microsoft Office suite experience is preferred.
