Job Overview

The Compliance & Process Improvement Coordinator is responsible for evaluating, developing, and documenting processes aimed at minimizing risks while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and the reliability of controls. This role involves:

  • Ensuring adherence to J-SOX, Quality Management System, and IATF standards.
  • Creating, standardizing, and reviewing compliance documentation.
  • Assessing educational requirements and establishing comprehensive training plans.
  • Analyzing operations to develop detailed flowcharts and functional lists.
  • Maintaining a risk/control matrix and a risk/compliance database.
  • Gathering audit requirements and identifying deficiencies in controls and compliance.
  • Formulating action plans to address non-compliance issues.
  • Assisting in the development of audit plans, schedules, and follow-up procedures.
  • Conducting tests and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Identifying processes that can be optimized to reduce defects and costs while improving operational flows.

Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Compliance, Quality or Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Compliance and Risk Management role. Candidates should have a background in internal auditing, operational compliance, and IATF standards. Proficiency in problem analysis, root cause identification, and resolution, as well as the implementation of preventative measures, is essential. Familiarity with analytical tools such as Fishbone Diagrams, Five Whys, Risk Ranking, Histograms, Pareto Charts, and Scatter Diagrams is also required.


Compensation:
$89,000 annually.
