Job Title: Travel CT Technologist - 12-Hour Mid Shifts

Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week contract position. This role features 12-hour mid-night shifts, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced CT Technologist to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of CT procedures to diagnose and evaluate medical conditions.
  • Prepare CT exam rooms, obtain informed consent, and gather accurate clinical history.
  • Review patient history and determine appropriate CT protocols.
  • Explain examination methods, position patients, and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
  • Ensure the quality of CT scans and coordinate the preparation of images/exams for physician review.
  • Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately.
  • Monitor CT equipment performance, report issues, and perform necessary maintenance.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an CT Technologist in a hospital setting.
  • Valid New York state license in CT Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Strong understanding of CT safety protocols.
  • Excellent technical skills in operating CT equipment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism.
  • Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
