Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant is a vital member of our home support team, responsible for providing personal care services and basic non-nursing/non-medical care activities for patients. This role is performed in accordance with a written assignment and under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with various basic non-nursing/non-medical care activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring patients
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the registered nurse
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a nursing aide training program
  • Active, valid CNA License certification with the DC Board of Health
  • Current CPR certification from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • 6 months experience as a CNA preferred
