Job Description

At Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Co, we are seeking a highly skilled Staff Auditor I to join our Audit Team. As a Staff Auditor I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits across various areas of the bank to ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.
  • Perform audit planning and fieldwork, including examining functions and reviewing procedures/processes for internal controls and compliance with regulations.
  • Report pertinent information to the Chief Auditor and/or supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule.
  • Respond to inquiries relating to their area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

Requirements:

  • A B.S. or B.A. degree in a field related to accounting or finance or equivalent auditing / accounting experience normally required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year audit or related banking / financial services experience normally required.
