Job Summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiology procedures, verifying and transferring data to viewing stations for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all diagnostic x-ray procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Accurately enter patient demographics and other information into the PACS system.
  • Transfer images to physician stations for interpretation.
  • Gather all radiology reports and films needed for the next business day.
  • Collect radiology films and reports requested by patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
  • LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist must be able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
