The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled QA/QC Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure that building codes and standards are adhered to on our projects. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Developing a comprehensive Quality Control plan prior to project commencement and maintaining it throughout construction
  • Daily communication with the Superintendent regarding necessary changes to the project, including materials, scheduling, permits, local/state regulations, etc.
  • Scheduling look-ahead analyses to identify potential future issues before they arise
  • Collaborating with the internal project management team to assess the feasibility of proposed changes
  • Routine jobsite walkthroughs to review the QC plan and previously recommended changes
  • Travel is required for this role

Key Responsibilities

  1. To lead the quality control function and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  2. To develop, implement, and maintain effective quality control processes
  3. To provide regular reporting on quality performance and areas for improvement

Requirements and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; USACE CQM-C certification also desirable
  • Prior experience working in healthcare or federal construction is highly valued
  • The ability to travel as required for this role

Benefits and Compensation

  • Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
  • Bonus structure available
