Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Ochsner Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our well-established and experienced cardiac surgery program in Covington, Louisiana.
Responsibilities- Emphasis on all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, including valve replacements, coronary artery bypass graft, and TAVR procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinics across Ochsner Health System
- Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our cardiac surgery program
- Clinic-based position with dedicated OR time
- APP support
- Call rotation shared amongst physicians within the group (clinic and hospital consult)
- 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite and pulmonary critical care support
- Integrated practice model with strong, internal referral network
- EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health System
- Tort reform state
- Salary is commensurate with experience and training
