Care One, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Child Mental Health Specialist to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

In this critical role, you will provide mental health services to vulnerable populations and foster a therapeutic environment that promotes recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents.
  • Diagnose mental health conditions and formulate individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Presume and manage medications as needed, ensuring regular follow-ups and monitoring.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and educators.
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Provide acute care and crisis stabilization for patients experiencing severe psychiatric symptoms.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with hospital policies and legal standards.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, ethical standards, and state and federal regulations governing psychiatric care.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in the state where you reside.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches for a wide range of conditions, including mood, anxiety, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Competence in working with diverse cultural and socioeconomic populations.
