Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct clinical reviews to assess the quality of care provided and participate in Professional Practice Committee activities.
- Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, adhering to established medical standards and protocols.
- Document patient interactions and medical history in a clear and concise manner.
- Active California Physician license.
- A minimum of two years of experience in primary care (adult) as a Physician within the last three years.
- Specialty Services: In addition to the above requirements, Physicians who are requested to work in specialized areas such as Emergency Medicine, Surgery, etc., must also have at least two years (2) years of experience within the last 3 years providing patient care within that setting and possess any required certificates.
- Obstetrics/Gynecology: Physicians who will be staffed at female institutions/facilities must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last five (5) years providing obstetric and gynecological nursing or patient care services in a healthcare setting.
- Clinical competencies must be up-to-date and validated for the specific area in which the Physician will be assigned.
The Physician will work in a correctional facility, providing medical services to patients in a fast-paced environment. The Physician must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
What We OfferAdeIphi MedicaI Staffing offers a competitive hourly rate of $135/hour and a 32-week contract. We are committed to providing our Physicians with the support and resources they need to succeed in their roles.
