We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and contributing to a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status, and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and provide education and support to promote patient understanding and empowerment.
- Implement evidence-based practices and interventions to improve patient outcomes, and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans through ongoing assessment and revision.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence in patient care.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
This position requires the ability to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs. The employee must be able to verbally communicate and hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately. Manual dexterity is required to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. The employee must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients, and navigate crowded and busy rooms.
