The Dealer Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in generating high-quality applications for indirect auto retail installment contracts within their designated territory. This involves nurturing existing dealer partnerships and expanding our network by establishing new connections with both franchise and independent dealerships.
In this capacity, the Dealer Relationship Manager will be tasked with promoting the Foursight/OneMain Auto program, following up on potential transactions, enhancing dealership productivity, and addressing any challenges that may arise. This role also serves as the primary liaison between the dealership and our internal credit team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Location Requirement: Candidates must reside in or near the Phoenix area.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, based on the needs of the company and dealerships.
Compensation: This position offers a base salary plus commission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and market our indirect lending services and options.
- Manage dealer relationships to meet volume targets while ensuring product quality.
- Review and follow up on approved applications to facilitate conversion to funded contracts.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and integrity.
- Develop marketing strategies that align with corporate objectives.
- Identify and communicate the needs of dealerships, market trends, and competitor programs.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a direct or indirect lender representative is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years in auto sales, finance, or credit underwriting is required.
- A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Proven ability to make sound, consistent decisions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Able to meet objectives within specified deadlines.
- Strong marketing, sales, and relationship management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of dealership operations and the indirect finance sector is required.
