We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience team at Mercy Hospital Southeast. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
- 1 year of RN experience Preferred.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
