Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and personable Patient Ambassador to join our team at SIMEDHealth. As a Patient Ambassador, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Direct Patients: Greet patients and visitors as they enter the building and direct them to the appropriate suite or area.
  • Provide Courteous Service: Provide courteous and efficient service to visitors and guests entering the building.
  • Anticipate Guest Needs: Anticipate and meet the needs of guests and visitors by monitoring and supervising the atrium and porte-cochere areas continuously.
  • Escort Patients: Escort patients from one area of the facility to another, including patients requiring diagnostic exams or other medical procedures.
  • Assist with Medical Emergencies: Get assistance for any patient or visitor who may be experiencing a medical emergency.
  • Support Administrative Tasks: Assist administration with marketing mail projects, daily interoffice mail delivery, and other deliveries as needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb stairs, and push/pull 50 pounds or more.
  • Previous Customer Service Experience: Have previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer-facing environment.
