Job Title: Development (.NET) Manager

At Pierce Technology Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development (.NET) Manager to lead our team of talented .NET developers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring successful project outcomes, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of .NET developers in an agile environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and architect scalable and maintainable software solutions, leveraging your expertise in .NET technologies.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and software development processes, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, helping them grow and develop their skills.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within established timelines and budget, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure code quality and performance, maintaining high standards of excellence.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring minimal disruption to the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in software development principles.
  • Proven experience as a .NET developer with deep understanding of the .NET framework and related technologies, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or management role, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly agile, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and SQL Server, with experience in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strong ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus, with a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and their applications.
