Job Title: Travel Radiology Technician

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician for a travel assignment in a reputable medical facility in Midland, Michigan.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic diagnosis and be able to apply ionizing radiation accurately. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures, resulting in high-quality diagnostic radiographs with minimal radiation exposure to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using accurate application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
  • Position patients and equipment appropriately to accurately demonstrate the area being examined, requiring extensive anatomic positioning skills.
  • Provide appropriate radiation protection for patients and staff during radiation exposures according to prescribed safety standards.
  • Adjust technical factors to provide appropriate exposure by using independent judgment, knowledge of human anatomy, effect of disease on the radiograph, and principles of radiation, as well as the specific operation of all radiologic equipment within the department.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of X-ray experience required.
  • Surgery experience required and noted on profile.
  • ARRT and BLS (AHA) certification required.
  • Profile requirements: work history, skills checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to specialty, 2 supervisory references, from the past 12 months of employment, license/certifications (ARRT & BLS (AHA) - facility will not pend license/certs), and candidates' permanent address (facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction).
About the Facility:

Located on 225 acres of wooded campus in Midland, Michigan, the 324-bed Medical Center offers a broad range of primary care and specialty care services, as well as 24-hour emergency care and Level II trauma care.

This client has a rebate of 2% of all billings related to this assignment; passthrough expenses are not subject to any rebates. Please see section 14.6.1 of SSP Master Agreement for details.
