Job Title: Physical Therapist - Special Education

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD). As a Physical Therapist, you will work with children with disabilities between the ages of 3 and 22, providing evaluation, intervention, and documentation to help them acquire educationally related functional activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to students with disabilities in a variety of settings, including schools and clinics.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Travel to various schools within the district as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current License to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio.
  • Valid Certificate from Ohio Department of Education.
  • Knowledgeable in pediatric interventions and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Self-starter, independent, and dependable worker.
  • Able to collaborate well with a team of therapists, teachers, parents, and outside agencies.
