Position: Industrial Journeyman Electrician (Minnesota License Required)
Objective: Under the guidance of project leaders, you will support various electrical construction initiatives across industrial, residential, and commercial sectors. Your expertise in Knobelsdorff methodologies will be essential in ensuring timely and precise project completions. This role involves travel to local projects within southeastern Minnesota.
Key Responsibilities- Familiarity with current electrical regulations and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and current construction techniques, along with managing the procurement of necessary materials and tools.
- Provide mentorship and training to apprentices and fellow team members.
- Maintain project documentation, including files, drawings, and records within our project management system.
- Availability for occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work.
- Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Possession of a Minnesota Journeyman's License is mandatory; other state licenses that can be reciprocated to Minnesota will be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
- Must be prepared for extensive travel (up to 100%) within regional states, including potential overnight stays for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a record of safe driving.
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and remain in a stationary position for extended durations.
- Capability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
- Physical ability to manually excavate and refill holes and trenches.
- Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 80 lbs.
