A .NET Developer plays a crucial role in converting business needs into detailed systems, applications, or process designs for advanced web and mobile solutions. This position encompasses the design, development, deployment, maintenance, and at times, support of multi-tiered web applications. The ideal candidate must be adept at producing clear and concise documentation and possess strong presentation and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement best practices and industry standards to design, develop, and deploy robust and maintainable application components utilizing HTML, Advanced JavaScript, CSS, internal frameworks, and third-party tools. A strong focus on performance and security in partnership with the technical lead is essential.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and Quality Assurance practices, including experience with source code control, debugging, and testing.
  • Stay informed about advancements in software development methodologies and technologies, particularly in full stack web frameworks.
  • Effectively communicate and persuade management and peers.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent technical work experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years in developing distributed Internet/eCommerce applications for high-traffic websites. Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies and programming complex database-driven websites is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Significant emphasis on designing and planning new features and resolving production issues while maintaining effective communication with the technical lead, scrum master, and team.
  • Write programming code, either from scratch or by modifying existing software to fulfill business requirements.
  • Test web and API components to identify and resolve technical issues.

  • Excellent understanding of foundational web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in translating wireframes into HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with various JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, and jQuery.
  • Strong understanding of web optimization techniques to enhance page load times.
  • Experience with AJAX/JSON.
  • Familiarity with technologies like SCSS and TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of modern client-side build systems using NPM.
