Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at Briggs Family Medicine. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing patient records, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Patient Records: Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient records, including labeling and addressing patient labs, reviewing medication refills, and updating patient charts.
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Participate in annual wellness visits, educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and ongoing care.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and compliance audits to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including reviewing ER/Urgent Care visit notes and determining follow-up needs.
Requirements
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License: Must be licensed in Texas.
  • Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols.
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR) Experience: Experience with EHR systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
