Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Develop and implement tax planning strategies, ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and manage tax audits and examinations.
- Client Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their tax needs are met.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic relationships with clients, and contribute to the growth of the firm.
- Seven to ten years of experience in public accounting, with a proven track record of tax complexity, scope, and research.
- At least two years of experience representing clients before taxing authorities.
- Minimum one year of experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required, Master's degree in taxation preferred.
- Minimum of forty hours of continuing education required each year to maintain and develop technical and business skills.
- A current and valid certified public accountant's license is required.
- Must be a member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs.
