We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Gastroenterology team at Ascension Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical practice.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and perform assessments to develop effective treatment plans.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, including counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers.
- Perform preventative health assessments, screenings, immunizations, and care to promote overall health and well-being.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 1 year of experience preferred.
- Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Some gastroenterology experience preferred.
