Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist III to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform CT procedures to produce accurate and timely results
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
  • May assist in orienting new staff members to the department
Requirements
  • Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • CRT certification (Certified Radiologic Technologist) from the state where work is being performed
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider)
  • RHF certification (Radiology Fluoroscopy) within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic computerized tomography principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to perform routine CT examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures
Work Environment

This position may regularly work with hazardous or potentially hazardous drugs identified by NIOSH for purposes of USP 800.
