Key Responsibilities:
As an Advanced Practice Provider, your duties will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients of all ages, including gathering comprehensive medical histories and performing detailed physical examinations.
- Prescribing both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options tailored to individual patient needs.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of each patient.
- Responding promptly to inquiries from patients and staff, prioritizing urgent needs effectively.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans based on advanced clinical judgment and diagnostic results.
- Utilizing problem-solving skills to make informed clinical decisions and consult with physicians as necessary.
- Maintaining open and effective communication with team members to support departmental goals and enhance patient care.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of treatment interventions and making adjustments as needed.
- Facilitating patient transitions across different healthcare settings, including admissions and discharges.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient referrals to community resources.
- Providing educational resources to support patient and family decision-making.
- Embracing opportunities to innovate nursing practices and improve patient outcomes.
- Evaluating nursing practices within your specialty and contributing to positive changes.

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited advanced practice nursing program.
- Certification from a nationally recognized board in your specialty area.
- Current RN license and appropriate APRN licensure in the state.
Experience:
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required.
Physical Demands:
- Effective communication skills, including verbal and written.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of light to moderate weights.
- Proficient use of vision and hearing for patient assessments.
- Occasional physical activities such as bending and lifting patients.
