Para este puesto, se busca un profesional con experiencia en la supervisión y preparación de alimentos en entornos de alta demanda. Se requiere habilidad para desarrollar menús diarios y su ejecución, así como la capacidad de supervisar a asociados horarios.

Sueldo estimado: entre $45.000 y $60.000 anuales dependiendo de la ubicación y experiencia.

Resumen del trabajo

Como Chef de cocina senior, será responsable de ayudar en la operación exitosa del Departamento de Cocina para una instalación. Asistirá en la supervisión, preparación y cocción de diversos alimentos, desarrollando menús diarios y su ejecución y supervisando a asociados horarios.

Responsabilidades clave
  • Asistir al Chef Ejecutivo en el control de costos y gastos para el cuenta
  • Colaborar con el Chef Ejecutivo en la planificación y creación de menús
  • Ejecutar eventos de catering
  • Lanzar nuevos programas culinarios en colaboración con el equipo de marketing y culinario de la empresa
Habilidades y cualificaciones requeridas
  • Título universitario en Artes Culinarias o certificado culinario y experiencia requerida
  • Experiencia progresiva en culinaria y administración de cocina, según el título formal o capacitación
  • Experiencia en catering es un plus
  • Experiencia en entornos de comida rápida y compleja - muy deseable
  • Conocimiento integral de tendencias gastronómicas y catering con enfoque en calidad, producción, higiene alimentaria, controles de costo de alimentos y presentación
  • Deberá tener experiencia con computadoras; incluyendo Microsoft Office (Word, Excel y PowerPoint), Outlook, correo electrónico y Internet
  • Debe estar dispuesto a participar en programas de satisfacción del paciente/usuario
  • Certificado ServSafe - altamente deseable
